Mindfulness Meditation is a practice that gives an opportunity to shift the mind from the busyness of auto-pilot and mind clutter to focusing on the present moment "on purpose". Jon Kabat Zinn, Mindfulness Guru, Author, Educator and Teacher uses the expression "as best you can". When we practice being mindful, we turn our attention from the busy mind of thinking to the present moment of just being. Using the breath to anchor ourselves in the here and now, we discover new learning about the present moment and ourselves.
In an individual session, group session, or at a day or overnight retreat, you are guided in the practice of Mindfulness Meditation. In her gentle manner and with compassion, Kimberly helps you learn and appreciate the basic and more indepth techniques that Mindfulness Meditation offers.
